Paul Palumbo
For Richfield Town Supervisor
BIO:
I grew up in nearby Frankfort, NY and attended Frankfort schools in the 70's. In the early 80's, I attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy NY, and earned a BS degree in Electrical Engineering. After graduation, I took a job at GE Aerospace in Utica, where I worked as an Electronics Design Engineer. In 1992, I was awarded a Professional Engineering License by the State of New York. In 1996, when Lockheed Martin (formerly GE Aerospace) left the area, I started my own engineering company "Custom Design Solutions, Inc." , now based in Ilion, NY near Remington Arms.
I have been a resident of Richfield since 2002, where I own a home on County Highway 22. Some of you may know me from my extensive work with the Canadarago Lake Improvement Association, where I have been on the Board of Directors since 2006, and am currently Vice President. You may also know me as the "weather station guy" who runs the weather computer equipment installed at the boat launch. I set up a system there in 2008 that monitors the local weather and lake level, and reports that information "real time" on the website CanadaragoLake.com. I am also on the Board of Directors of the Richfield Springs Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the Richfield Springs Historical Association and Canadarago Snowtoppers. I have also been your Town Councilman since 2014.
